Members attended a Saint Valentine’s Day function in the Ladies Rose Garden of Old Parliament House Rose Gardens at 6:00 PM on Sunday 14 February 2016.
Dennis Dempsey, head gardener for the Gardens, was on hand to provide advice about Friends' roses and also ran an entertaining rose quiz.
Assistance was provided by the Country Women's Association of New South Wales (Canberra Evening Branch) for the wide array of nibbles. Lerida Estate supported us once again with their sparkling Zenzi wine.
