Members and their guests attended a fireside chat with our co-Patron Richard Broinowski on Sunday 24 August 2014 at the Ivy Café, Old Canberra House in the grounds of ANU.
Richard Broinowski keeps alive the vision of his grandfather, Robert Broinowski who, as Secretary of the Joint House, Usher of the Black Rod and Clerk of the Senate, was responsible in the 1930s for the establishment and development of the rose gardens to beautify the barren paddocks adjacent to Parliament House.
